A small studio, run slowly, in New Delhi.

Spacelume Creation is a one-room architectural and interior practice. We design at the scale of a hinge and at the scale of a campus, with the same care.

Founded in 2024 by Ar. Mihir Singh Vats, the studio began with a single project and a single question: what does restraint feel like as a material?

The studio works across India, occasionally abroad, on residential, commercial, hospitality, and landscape briefs. We are small on purpose. We do not chase scale — we chase finish.

Mihir Singh Vats

Architect, principal, and the studio's only permanent hire.

Trained in Delhi, Mihir founded the practice in 2024 and has, since, been the lead designer, project architect, and on-site reviewer on every project the studio has touched. He works slowly. He draws by hand. He believes a project is finished when the building is finished — not when the photographs are.

— How we work

Three small commitments.

One room.

Every project is briefed, drawn, and detailed in the same room, by the same small team.

Hand drawn.

We begin every project with hand drawings — in plan, section, and elevation — before a single line of CAD.

On site.

We are on site, every week, until the building is right. No handover to a third-party PM.
